SUMMER 2024 ANNOUNCED!
BAMtheatre’s unique Broadway Workshop Series (BWS) is the perfect summer camp for any kid who has a theatrical side! BAM offers varied summer camp styles, perfect to delight every kind of performer! Morning sessions will meet from 10am - 1pm, and Afternoon sessions will meet from 1:30 - 4:30pm. Pending demand, additional sessions may open up. ANNOUNCING THE 2024 SUMMER CAMP LINEUP:
Week 1 - BROADWAY BOUND Experience
WILLY WONKA Kids (Ages 5 - 13)
June 10 - 14
Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Friday, June 14
Dive into Willy Wonka's whimsical world in this fun Broadway Bound summer camp! Five golden tickets hidden in chocolate bars lead lucky winners to an exclusive tour of Wonka's fantastical factory and a lifetime supply of sweets. In this Broadway Bound camp structure, students audition, rehearse, and shine in a high-energy 30-minute musical extravaganza, capturing the enchantment of Willy Wonka's magic.
Week 2 - BROADWAY BOUND Experience
ALADDIN Kids (Ages 5 - 13)
June 24 - June 28
Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Friday, June 28
Get ready to embark on a magic carpet ride! Join Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, the Genie, and all your favorite characters in a magical musical adventure. This is a Broadway Bound camp, which offers students the chance to audition, rehearse, and dazzle the audience with their performance—all in one exhilarating week!

Week 3 - SHOWSTOPPER Experience
Dance the Night Away: Barbie's Greatest Hits (Ages 5 - 12)
July 8 - 12
Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Friday, July 12
Get all dolled up in the ultimate Barbie summer camp bop! This camp is a fab and sassy shindig, showcasing Barbie's chart-topping hits, including the freshest tunes from the brand-new movie! Campers are invited to jump into the glittery groove with a blend of singing, dancing, and crafting! This is a Showstopper camp, where students will not only learn and perform a medley of tunes but also engage in other activities that are as glam as Barbie herself.
Weeks 4, 6 & 7 - SHOWSTOPPER Experience
Taylor (BAM's Version) (Ages 7 - 14)
July 15 - 19, August 5 - 9 & 12 - 16
Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day
Final Performances on Fridays

Hey Swifties, get ready to shake it off!! Campers will spark their wildest dreams and dive deep into the enchanted world of Taylor's spellbinding melodies and soul-stirring lyrics. Unleash your inner star as we sing and dance to our favorite Taylor Swift hits, weaving unforgettable moments into a kaleidoscopic and melodic summer adventure. This is a Showstopper camp, where students will learn and perform a medley of songs and also take part in other activities inspired by the camp theme.
Week 5 - SHOWSTOPPER Experience
TROLLS Sing-a-Long (Ages 4 - 9)
July 22 - 26
Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Friday, July 26
Join BAM in rhythm and laughter as we sing and dance to our favorite songs from Trolls! Campers will dive into the catchy tunes from the movies, learn dances, hone vocal skills, as well as take part in other activities. Get ready for a summer escapade brimming with happiness, imagination, and the toe-tapping rhythms of the Trolls soundtrack! This is a Showstopper camp, where students will learn and perform a medley of songs and also take part in other activities inspired by the camp theme.
Weeks 6 & 7 - TRIPLE THREAT Experience
13 Jr (Ages 7 - 16)
August 5 - 16
Monday - Friday, 3 hours/day
Final Performance Friday, August 16
Evan Goldman is the new kid at school, and he needs to establish his place in the popularity pecking order. Can he situate himself on a comfortable link of the food chain... or will he dangle at the end with the outcasts?!? This is a Triple Threat camp, which will allow students to dive deeper into the process of putting on a musical, from auditions to the final performances - all in two weeks! (Please note that the junior version of this musical has been adapted appropriately for this age group.)

Super Early-Bird Tuition (By March 1) - $270
Early-Bird Tuition (By April 1) - $285
Regular Tuition - $295
All campers will receive a t-shirt which they will wear for the performance.
All camps will take place at Avenue Christian Church (5750 Holmes Ave, Clarendon Hills, IL).
Additional camp sessions will be scheduled based on demand throughout the registration period. For camps with multiple sessions, Sessions A/C and Sessions B/D will unite for the final performance, with each session showcasing featured material independently.
